Has called on Russia to release Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny immediately and unconditionally.

In separate statements, the two leaders said Alexei Navalny was a brave man who had fought tirelessly against the Russian president's corruption. The leaders also said that they had paid the price by trying to take away their freedom and, to a large extent, their lives.
