More than 100,000 citizens take to the streets in France against the Corona Health Pass
In France, more than 100,000 people have demonstrated in various cities against the Corona virus health pass. According to official figures released by French authorities, 121,000 people across the country protested against the health pass, calling it discriminatory. It should be noted that in France, citizens who are vaccinated against the corona virus are issued a health pass, while those who enter public places, restaurants and cafes must show a pass or a negative code test report.
French citizens who have not been vaccinated have called it discrimination and are protesting across the country against the ban on Corona vaccine health passes. According to the French Interior Ministry, 121,000 people protested across the country, including 19,000 in Paris. Police in the capital, Paris, have arrested 85 people in connection with the clashes. According to the Interior Ministry, three policemen were slightly injured in the clashes. The weekend protests in France have been going on for more than two months. However, officials claim that their intensity is decreasing.
Authorities say 140,000 people protested last week and 237,000 in early August. The recent protests come a day after former French Health Minister Agnes Bozen was accused of failing to deal with the Corona epidemic. Investigators in a special court in Paris said they had enough evidence to prosecute the former health minister. Agnes Bozen, who is also a doctor, is charged with "endangering the lives of others."
