Quetta Gladiators all-rounder Shahid Afridi made the most expensive bowling spell of PSL. The tenth match of the seventh edition of PSL was played between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium in Karachi in which Islamabad outclassed Quetta. Batting first, Islamabad United put up a mountain of 229 runs in the stipulated overs in response to which the entire team of Quetta Gladiators returned to the pavilion for 186 runs and none of the batsmen except Ahsan Ali could play a good innings.
Islamabad United's Pearl Sterling, Colin Monroe and Azam Khan washed the Quetta Gladiators' bowlers well but Shahid Afridi proved to be the most expensive bowler. Former national team captain Shahid Afridi bowled the most expensive over of Pakistan Super League so far and took one wicket in his 4 overs and scored 67 runs. Shahid Afridi hit 8 sixes and a four in his 4 overs. Earlier, Zafar Gohar of Islamabad United had scored 65 runs in 4 overs against Peshawar Zalmi and got the most expensive over, but now the honor has gone to Shahid Khan Afridi.
